DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY LEAGUES

Developmental Hockey Leagues

This is Stage 2 in the All Seasons Developmental Hockey Progression.  This league is designed to give kids the opportunity to play in a team setting. Your child will take all the skills taught to them throughout our developmental hockey classes and utilize these skills in a game situation using the USA Hockey ADM Model. Both leagues are age appropriate.

SIHL - SCOOTERS IN-HOUSE LEAGUE
AGES - 4 to 7 Years Olds (Birth years - 2019,  2018, 2017, 2016 & 2015)
PRE-REQUISITE: Beginner 2 & Beginner 3
*This is also a progression to the Jr. Sabres JSHL next year. Additionally, they will be introduced to the rules of the game along with 1/2 ice positional play. 
Cost: $299

MMHL - MIGHTY MITES HOCKEY LEAGUE
AGES - 4 to 7 Years Olds (Birth years - 2019,  2018, 2017, 2016 & 2015)
PRE-REQUISITE: Beginner 3 and Pre-Mite Hockey
*This is also a progression to the Jr. Sabres JSHL next year. Additionally, they will be introduced to the rules of the game along with 1/2 ice positional play. 
Cost: $299

CIHL - ALL SEASONS IN-HOUSE LEAGUE
AGES - 8 to 12 Years Olds 
PRE-REQUISITE: Pre-Mite and Pre-Hockey levels
*This is also a progression to the Jr. Sabres JSHL or NHWL next year. They will be introduced to the rules of the game along with FULL ice positional play. 
COST*:  CIHL $349

*NOTE: A slush fund of $35 is collected for last names on the back of jerseys, hockey socks, awards and end of season bbq. This is collected when jerseys and socks are handed out. This payment does not go to front desk. 

 

STRUCTURE OF THE LEAGUE: 
EVAL GAME: We will have teams spilt by skill sets and age before the evaluation game. At that time we will move kids around to make sure each and every team is as balanced as can be. 
SKILLS AND DRILLS PRACTICES: 
8 or 16 on-ice skill and drills practice days offered
INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICE GAMES: 3 practice games will give us the opportunity to teach your child the structure of the league and how to play 1/2 ice games (Scooters & MightyMites) and full ice games for the CIHL. We will also work on line changes, positions, along with teaching kids team play.
INSTRUCTIONAL GAMES:  We will have 6 Regular Season Games which each team will play each other 2x. We will then have the Chelios Cup Championship Showdown Game at the end of the season. Games will be on TBA
DHL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN: TBA
On that day we will have a BBQ for everyone along with games and raffles for all friends, families and
