Scooters Developmental Hockey League
AGES:  5 - 8
PRE-REQUISITE TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE:  Tot Hockey Beginner 3 and higher / Pre-Hockey Fundamentals and higher.
** Coach Cheli STRONGLY recommends participation in a Developmental Hockey class with the Scooter League.
DATES:  March 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6 and 13, 2012
COST:  $155 OR $135 with the registration of a Developmental Hockey Class

This is STAGE 1 of the Developmental Hockey League Program at All Seasons Ice Rinks. In this league your child will get the opportunity to utilize the skills learned during the Developmental Skills programs in a game situation. Coach Cheli and his staff will split the kids up into equally skilled teams that will play each other every week.

We will be using the ADM program that is very popular with USA Hockey. The League is formatted so that each team will have nine players and will play a 3 on 3 format with two-minute shifts. Each team has a coach and all games will be supervised by Coach Cheli or his staff. Each student will receive equal ice time, encouragement by coaches and staff, develop confidence, and be part of a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to get your child into game mode before our famous Mighty Mite Hockey League begins.
Highlights of Scooters

Ø  Playing on a smaller surface results in increased puck possession time for each player, creating more scoring opportunitiesIndividual technical skills develop faster

Ø  More frequent line changes in the game mean more ice time for each player

Ø  Line changes are faster since the players are directly beside the playing surface

Ø  Each player’s activity increases greatly

Ø  Develops hockey sense & quicker decision making skills

Mighty Mites Developmental Hockey League
AGES:  5 - 8
PRE-REQUISITE TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE:  Pre-Mite Intermediate, Advanced or Elite / Pre-Hockey Phase 1, 2, Advanced or Elite
** Coach Cheli STRONGLY recommends participation in a Developmental Hockey class with the Mighty Mite League.
DATES:  March 10 - June 3, 2012
COST:  $250 OR $230 with the registration of a Developmental Hockey Class

This is STAGE 2 in the All Seasons Developmental Hockey League Program. This league is designed to give kids the opportunity to play in a team setting. Just like the Scooter League, these kids will take all of the skills that were taught to them throughout the year and utilize these skills in a game situation. They will be introduced to the rules of the game along with positional play. The format of this league will consist of each team having two lines that are matched up with lines of a similar skill level. Listed below is the breakdown of each line.

• LINE 1:  Kids that are 8 & under at the pre-mite advanced and elite level
   
• LINE 2:  Kids that are 8 & under at the Intermediate level

The league will also provide a 10 game schedule along with practices and a team jersey. Sabre players are allowed to participate only with Coach Cheli’s approval. Participation in the Developmental Hockey classes is still HIGHLY recommended by Coach Cheli!

SEASON– MARCH 10 – JUNE 3, 2012

All Seasons' C.I.H.L. (Chelis' In-House League)
AGES:  9 & older
PRE-REQUISITE TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE:  Pre-Hockey Phase 2, Advanced or Elite (Phase 1 may participate in this league with Coach Cheli's approval.
** Coach Cheli STRONGLY recommends participation in a Developmental Hockey class if skater is currently at the Pre-Hockey Phase 1 or 2 level, with the In-House League.
DATES:  March 10 - June 3, 2012
COST:  $399 OR $349 if registration is received by February 10, 2012

This Developmental In-House League was established to give older players the opportunity to play the game of hockey in a fun and enjoyable environment. The program is affordable and gives every child the chance to play hockey in a fun atmosphere that is less competitive.

This league is structured to give everyone equal playing time and allow each player to develop at his/her own pace. Players will be evaluated by Coach Cheli and his staff, and divided equally for team placement. During league play your child will be taught game rules, team play, good sportsmanship, positional play and much more. Parents are encouraged to get involved by volunteering to be a team manager or as a coach. This is a great way to get involved with your child’s activities while also learning how to coach the game of hockey.

LEVELS; Squirts (8, 9 & 10 yrs), PeeWee (11 & 12 yrs) and Bantam (13 yrs & older)
