SIGN UP EARLY!
Parent-Tot Class - One parent, with some skating experience, with their toddler, ages 30 months - 5 yrs, no experience on the ice needed, get to learn how to have fun on the ice by playing with toys and games. The parent will learn some simple teaching techniques to help their toddlers along. Classes will begin on the floor the first and second weeks, taking to the ice after the first 5 - 10 minutes.
Class is 30 minutes in length and cost is $125.00. Available:

Beginner Tot & Tot 1 Class - Beg. is for toddlers, ages 3 - 5 years old, that have never been on the ice or in skates. Classes will begin on the floor the first two weeks for 5 - 10 minutes before taking to the ice. Toys and games will be implemented in teaching them the simple skills of skating. Beginner Tots will learn the same elements that are taught in the Tot 1 level, but at a slower pace. If a child HAS been on the ice before, they should sign up for Tot 1 to learn marching, fishes, backward wiggles and standing on one foot.

Tot 2 & Tot 3 Classes - Toddlers, ages 3 - 5 years, that have been passed by an instructor to Tot 2 or 3 will learn even more advanced manuevers such as, backward swizzles, forward crossovers, snowplow stops and more.
Class is 30 minutes in length and cost is $95.00. Available:

Beginner Pre-Alpha & Pre-Alpha 1 Class - Beg. Pre-Alpha children, ages 5-1/2 - 13 years old, that have never been on the ice before will start the first two weeks on the floor, taking to the ice after the first 5 - 10 minutes of class. Skaters will learn the same manuevers that are taught in Pre-Alpha 1, but at a slower introductory pace. Sign up for Pre-Alpha 1 if child has been on ice before. Manuevers to be taught are forward skating, one-foot glides, swizzles and backward wiggles.

Pre-Alpha 2 Classes - Children, ages 5-1/2 - 13 years old, learn basic skills like Back Wiggles, Two-Foot Glides, One-Foot Glides, Forward & Backward Swizzles, Alternate Pumps, Alternate Curves, and Pumps on a Circle. Must pass Pre-Alpha 1 to register for Pre-Alpha 2.

**Newcomers!!**
Beginners should wear comfortable pants, sweaters/jackets, and gloves or mittens. Helmets and padding are optional and are not provided by the ice arena. We Do Not Allow skates with double blades.
1st Day of Class
1) Please arrive 30 minutes prior to start of class to check in and get stakes put on properly.
2) Check in at designated area to receive pins, sign any necessary forms, and find out where your group will meet.
3) Get rental skates (if needed) and don't be afraid to ask for help in getting the proper skate size.
4) Look for maps and signs!
5) Students should meet their instructors 5-10 min. prior to start of class.
6) Most importantly HAVE FUN!
Keep in mind that the first day of class is ALWAYS the most hectic, so PLEASE try to be patient. Thank YOU!
Skate rental for the 5week Session is available at the time of registration for $12.50. Skate rental purchased weekly will be $3.50 per usage otherwise. There are NO REFUNDS on skate rentals for ANY reason.
Trial Classes
A trial class is available during the 1st OR 2nd week of our Sessions, to first time students for just $15! If they're not sure they will like skating, just let them try it without financial risk. If they decide to continue, pay the balance of the class fee less the $15 trial fee.

If you sign up for more than one class a week for the session, you will receive any additional classes that you add for $25 off the price of the regular class cost.
Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 Classes - Must have passed the Pre-Alpha 2 class. Some of the manuevers taught: Forward Stroking, Snowplow Stops, Forward Crossovers, Back Alternate Pumps, Back Alternate Curves, Backward One-Foot Glides, and Backward Pumps on a Circle.

ADULT CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATES & ADVANCED SKATERS - Classes will be separated by ability. Whether you've never been on skates before, or you're already spinning and jumping, there will be a space for you here. Adults have just as much fun as the kids (if not more!) Men and women, hockey and figure skating, there is something for everyone!
